The differences between T1 and T2 MRI images

Today I will blogging about the difference T1 versus T2 images in MRI . I have made a summary of what that is written in this book. I am no expert on MRI as I am still a fresh graduate. 

 

* So anything that is bright on T2 and Dark on T1 --> water based tissue

For example: 

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is bright in T2, but dark on T1. Because it is free fluid and contains no fat

Should you get a unitkitout? A broke Malaysian student point of view

Just my opinion. I did not order from UniKitOut. I merely got some stuff free from The Loom because I used some early bird voucher. But I highly suspect that the stuffs are also from UniKitOut because my housemate who ordered UniKitOut got the exact same stuff as me but more in quantity.  So they gave me free bedding and kitchen stuff. I am not complaining here, but just wanted to help some students who are deciding on whether to get the UniKitout or not. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture but check out my YouTube video review of the room. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TufeCxAlsF8 WOULD I BUY THE UNIKITOUT ? My answer is NO. Because you can get everything in DEALZ , Lidl, and Dunnes for a fraction of the price and better quality. Only downside is you have to shop for it yourself. Student Hostel Congee/Porridge/JOOK

I have been tummy upset for the past few days and I really wanted some light yet cheap. I could not find anything on JustEat so I decided to make congee from whatever ingredients I had in my room I used a simple rice cooker to make it. 0.5 cups of washed uncooked rice (I used jasmine white rice but you can use any rice that you can find at your local supermarket) 1 tablespoon of scalloped powder/ chicken stock powder 5 cups of water 2 slices of ginger 10 - 15 goji berries washed 5 - 6 chinese red dates A handful of chopped scallions Just dump everything into the rice cooker and click the cook button. I cooked it for a minimum of 35 minutes. Give it a stir and taste test to see if the congee is at a consistency that you like.  I like mine watery and light.
